We're thrilled to announce that Bloom In Soap has won a Bronze Award in the Soap Category at the twelfth annual Free From Skincare Awards! This marks our inaugural entry into the Awards and our first-ever product award win, with our Wild Herb and Oatmeal natural soap bar.
Skincare for sensitive skin
The Europe-wide Awards were launched in 2012 by Michelle Berriedale-Johnson, founder of the Free From Food Awards, and Alex Gazzola, a writer who specialises in allergies and ‘free from’, to encourage and reward manufacturers of skincare products that don’t include many of the allergens, preservatives, additives and fragrances associated with skin sensitivities, allergies, and ethical, environmental and health concerns, and which some consumers may need to or want to avoid, especially if looking for more ‘allergy friendly’ or natural cosmetics, and are struggling to find suitable products.
We carefully formulated this product with a unique blend of herbs known to help soothe irritated skin, including chickweed, horsetail herb, calendula and comfrey, along with colloidal oats, fair trade shea butter and coconut milk for their deeply moisturising properties. As this natural soap doesn't contain any essential oils, it's a breath of fresh air for anyone with an allergy to fragrances, and for expectant mothers who should avoid products containing essential oils.
Tester's feedback
The winners were announced following a lengthy judging process which included a rigorous month-long assessment by four experienced cosmetic testers, and concluded with round-table expert judging sessions. Here's some of the lovely feedback we received from the testers:
“My skin stayed hydrated, cleansed, supple, comfortable, soap felt like it was adding moisture to my skin rather than washing it away, my skin tone was brighter, healthier looking, eczema wasn’t aggravated and there was no dryness or dehydration to the skin on my body after use.
