What is the best nail strengthener?

Natural nail oil is a must-have if your nails are weak and prone to breakage. A nail oil treatment will go a long way to improving the condition of your cuticles too, as it will help to heal and repair any broken skin around the nails. So if you're a serial nail biter or you regularly splash out on nail extensions because your nails aren't in great condition, natural nail oil could be your new best friend, allow you to go au naturel, and save you hundreds of pounds in the process.

Which oil is best for nail growth?

One of the super active ingredients in our organic nail nourishing oil, Nourish Nails, is myrrh oil. The best nail oil for growth, myrrh essential oil has been used for over 4,000 years for its powerful healing properties. Well known for its ability to promote the healthy growth of nails, it can also help to protect brittle and chipped nails from breakage. What's more, it's 100% natural!

Nail oil with jojoba

Our nail nourishing oil is made with organic jojoba oil which strengthens and helps to promote the growth of nails. Jojoba is loaded with vitamins E and B which can help to repair damaged collagen in the nail beds, and is also fast-absorbing into the skin, meaning that you won't be left with greasy fingers!

Oil for nail fungus

Many people experience nail fungus at some point in their lives, and it usually seems to affect the toenails in particular. Thankfully, if you're looking for a natural solution, there are specific natural remedies for fighting fungus - and frankincense essential oil is one of them. With natural antifungal properties, frankincense - combined with myrrh oil - helps to naturally protect nails from the growth of nail fungus. You'll be pleased to hear that both frankincense and myrrh, along with lemongrass and lavender oil, are in our natural nail oil which is naturally antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal.

How to use nail oil

Nail oil is so easy to use - all you need to do is apply it to your nails using the pipette, gently massaging any excess oil into your nails and cuticles until the oil has fully absorbed. Use the nail oil at least 3 times a week, however, we do recommend that for the best results you use it every day. It can also be used after applying shellac or acrylic nails to help strengthen weakened nails.

The most difficult thing is to remember to apply it! That's why I always store a bottle on my breakfast table - when I sit down to eat in the morning, there it is right in front of me and I don't forget to apply it :)

Nourish Nails

Our customers are just loving our organic natural nail oil, Nourish Nails. One lady, who previously spent hundreds of pounds on nail extensions and gel polish, switched to Nourish Nails and found that after regular use her nails were in such great condition that she could do away with the nail extensions, saving her quite a lot of money!

"I have bitten my nails all my life and over the last 20 years tried various nail extensions/gel polish. I now have good nails and they are really strong. The oil has lasted for over a year. So instead of paying £25 a fortnight, it's cost less than £15 a year. It's really amazing."

Another customer, who had very weak nails, found that her nails were transformed after just a few weeks:

"I've been using the nail oil for about a month now and have seen a significant difference in the strength of my nails over that time. They used to be very brittle and break, now they are really strong and healthy, I have even started wearing nail varnish to show them off - thoroughly recommend it."

I personally have never been one for painting my nails (coming from a background in catering) so rely on the 'au naturel' nail look. Up until now I've never really looked after my nails either, but since I've been using Nourish Nails I've noticed a stark improvement - they're strong, look healthy, and they're in great condition. And the little £10 bottle lasts ages! I've been using it daily for 4 months and have barely scratched the surface.
